Hi there Anna! Thanks for reading.
Follow the instructions above and then just disembark at Pasay Rotunda terminal of the airport shuttle. From there, you can take MRT Pasay (Taft Avenue) Station and take you to either Boni Station, Shaw Boulevard (Crossing) Station or Ortigas Station, all of which are in Mandaluyong.

A few years ago, there was Western Visayas Tourism Assembly in which the highlight was the parade of festivals. It happened three times, one in Iloilo, then at Bacolod and I guess the last one was in Roxas. After that, it didn't pushed through. It was DOT-6 that brought these fiestas to Dinagyang through Kasadyahan. Now I hope this is sustainable.

i remember about less than 10 years ago, in kalibo, they did a parade in the streets with all the major fiestas in the region to promote local tourism. it was spectacular! it never happened again, maybe they run out of funds to continue the project. but this one is good news.

Hi!

Your blog title caught me - I share the same perspective.
I was one of those who was just too eager nga mag-Dagyang with my family, so bringing a camera along becomes a requisite.
I am not as fortunate as you to secure passes (my ticket to Freedom Grandstand was just my camera as they thought I am one of those photographer contestants) but good thing to note that you've also seen these loopholes and valued the emphasis on 'free show at the city streets'. Love also your photos and post, very neatly done. Keep it up!

i beg to disagree the way they did the tinuom nga uhong. its not the way our ancestors used to. what the chef did is so modernized. tinuom nga uhong is cooked without pork and oil. it is basically cooked in banana leaves. the sauteing of the ingredients will diminish the real mushroom flavor. and the reason why our ancestors cooked it the tinuom way? its because they wanted the real taste and flavor of uhong without much additional ingredients for health reason. now how could it be a healthy food if pork and shrimp are added plus the oil?
