In the afternoon on September 13, 2009, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), Manila and the country’s premiere gateway, reported a radar malfunction that caused delays, cancellations and diversion of flights going in and out of Manila starting around 2:30PM local time.
As according to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), by around 4PM, the radar was fixed and now ready to serve air traffic again.
